 By now, you've probably made your way through the 56 levels included with the PlayStation Portable version of Echochrome. Unlike the PS3 version, where user-created levels could be accessed, the PSP version has been very limited in that regard. But Sony has your back, provided you're willing to pay the price -- the game's first expansion pack will be released tomorrow on the PlayStation Store. For the reasonable price of $4.99, you'll get 40 new levels of MC Escher-inspired madness.If you don't already own the game, you'll find a bundle is available that includes both the game and the expansion in one easy click. But if you're that lazy, it might not be your mind that is in the most dire need of exercise. Over on PlayStation.Blog you can find some new information on the behind-the-scenes workings of Echochrome, including the choices behind the game's spartan art style and unique music. It's definitely worth a look if you're a fan of the game or at all interested in how this peculiar game came to be.
