Speaking to CVG (via Kotaku), Valve's Doug Lombardi noted that the recent success of the PlayStation 3 has caused the developer to "reevaluate that for what it is." He continued "So whether or not you like developing for that platform, if they've got millions of people connected to that platform and buying their games you have to take it seriously." His comments are sure to put a smile on anyone's face who primarily plays games on the PS3 and has been following the rollercoaster news ride about how Left 4 Dead will not appear on Sony's console. Additionally, Lombardi noted, because of the hardware, the PS3 would be an easier place to take their games than the Wii "with its input devices and lower tech." |
